Electrophoretic deposition of SrTi1-xMgxO3-δ films in oxygen sensor

摘要
An electrophoretic deposition (ED) method was applied for the preparation of SrTi1-xMgO3-delta films for oxygen sensor application. Dense SrTi1-xMgO3-delta films with uniform thickness can be readily prepared with the ED method by acetons, methanol and isobutyl acetate as a solvent. The SrTi1-xMgxO3-delta films has been studied from the viewpoint for a lean-burn oxygen sensor. The sensitivity characteristics of the specimens have been investigated. The experimental results show all specimens exhibit the characteristics of p-type semiconductor in the learn-burn region (10(2) Pa < Po-2 < 10(4) Pa). The 35 mol% Mg-doped SrTiO3 specimen reveals the best oxygen sensing properties. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
