Step decoration at Pt single crystal electrodes: role of the anion

摘要
The dissolution of Cu from the stepped Pt(332) surface follows 0th order kinetics in perchloric or sulfuric acid, but not in the presence of chloride. An additional peak in the hydrogen region is observed for partial coverages of Cu and Tl on Pt(332) and Pt(755) with and without the addition of chloride. Step decoration is observed in all these cases. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science S.A. All rights reserved.
