摘要
Among the expressive elements of the narrative is the shape of its plot. Analysis of the plot structure of the Iliad (following the methods of Roland Barthes, Claude Bremond, Thomas Pavel, and Eugene Dorfman) reveals a complex nesting structure of successive conflicts expressing a world of radical instability, a world in which no resolution leads finally to peace.
