摘要
The use of information and communication technology (ICT) to recognize society and culture in computational concepts and applications is discussed. The technology recognizes the relationship between science, society and technological development, proposes a taxonomy for understanding local computational concepts and poses a question whether CS would benefit from taking local knowledge into accounting. The development of modern-day ICT is affected by the technology producers, academic circles, influential social and institutional actors, and diverse user groups. It is important to understand the philosophical framework of computational and technological concepts and reach the use and development of technological tools in culturally relevant ways. The ICT industry should benefit from better user satisfaction and larger markets where researchers and users would be able to bring in new resources, fresh viewpoints, and novel innovations.
