摘要
A framework is presented to identify and evaluate the risks of human error for critical steps in the escape, evacuation and rescue (EER) process on offshore installations. A combination of expert judgment techniques and major incident investigations from industry were used to evaluate the risk for the evacuation stage. Risk reduction is also included in this framework via a separate risk assessment technique. Dependency and overall time to complete the EER process were not analyzed in this work. Further research should be focused on some of the potential safety barriers identified in the framework so that they may be effectively incorporated in the risk reduction stage.
