Inducible RNA Interference of brlAβ in Aspergillus nidulans

摘要
An inducible RNA interference (RNAi) construct composed of inverted repeating alcA promoters flanking the developmental regulatory gene brlA beta was tested in Aspergillus nidulans. On inducing medium, the RNAi strains failed to sporulate and lacked brlA alpha and brlA beta expression. RNAi was specific for brlA beta, but not brlA alpha, silencing, indicating brlA alpha regulation by brlA beta.
