1,3-Diketone-Based Organoboron Polymers: Emission by Extending π-Conjugation along a Polymeric Ligand

摘要
The synthesis of the π-conjugated polymers integrated organoboron quinolate, the main-chain-type organoboron 1, 3-diketonate polymers through chelating reaction of 1,3 diketone-based p-phenylene-ethylene derivatives as polymeric ligands with arylboron compounds was investigated. 1m and 2m were initially designed as the model compounds of diarylboron diketonate polymers by using Gaussian 03 suit of programs. Optical properties of obtained polymers using ultraviolet-visual absorbance and fluorescence spectroscopy were measured, and caught the absorption peaks of BOC-poly and polymer ligand containing piperidine at 414 and 426 nm. Sonogashira-Hagihara coupling reaction was selected to give the diarylboron diketonate polymers based on p-phenylene-ethylene structures. The study also compared the emissions and absolute quantum yields with other polymer models, such as boron complexes and polymer ligands.
