The emeraldine base form of polyaniline (PANi), processed using a novel combination of 2-acrylamido-2-methyl-1-propanesulfonic acid (AMPSA) and dichloroacetic acid (DCA) solvent, has been spun into fibres. Differences observed in the temperature dependent conductivity behaviour of the fibres and similar solvent cast films are related to the different processing techniques employed.
