Measurement of vertical force in sail assessment of injured persons is a method for objective control of recovery rate during rehabilitation process. We described our computer bared system for continuous monitoring and analysis of vertical forces. The system uses the original multisegmented capacitive transducers for force measurement and originally developed software GAS for real time monitoring and post-processing. The software performances and some methods of vertical force signals processing in time and frequency domain are given and discussed. The feasibility of the system for further clinical use is proved.
