Synthesis and characterization of [60]fullerene-based nonlinear optical polyacrylonitrile derivatives

摘要
Highly soluble [60]fullerene-based polyacrylonitrile (PAN) derivatives with different C60 contents were synthesized under a purified argon atmosphere. The copolymer structures were characterized using various techniques including ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) absorption, electron spin resonance (ESR), differential scanning calorimeter analysis (DSC), Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and X-ray powder diffraction (XRD). The third-order nonlinear response of these structures was also confirmed by optical-heterodyne-detected optical-Kerr-effect (OHD-OKE) technique.
