摘要
In thp Prometheus story, the hero is subjects to involuntary, ongoing participation in a liver regeneration experiment as a consequence of stealing (and publishing) the secret of fire. At a recent meeting*, immunologists, virologists, hepatobiologists and transplantation biologists became fired up about stealing the secrets of the liver, surely a transfiguration of the same basic myth.
