摘要
Cats have been diagnosed with infection with the deadly avian flu H5N1 strain in numerous countries. Experiments in cats have found the virus in the sputum and feces, suggesting that the animals may shed the virus extensively. These results have major implications for the transmission of avian flu by cats.
