摘要
The process of producing horizontally aligned carbon nanotubes (CNT) on quartz substrates by controlling the feeding flow direction in a pyrolysis process of iron phthalocyanine (FePc) at 1000°C was analyzed. The pyrolysis of FePc has produced vertically parallel CNT without pre-deposition of catalysts. It was found that aligned CNT with different orientations can be produced in large areas by pyrolysis of iron phthalocyanine at 1000°C. It was also found that the vertically aligned CNTs were produced close to the combustion boat and horizontally aligned CNTs were formed on the substrate away from the boat.
