摘要
Metastable phases of the Zn-Mn system can be prepared at low temperature by electrochemical methods. epsilon and epsilon beta BCC alloys can be obtained as a function of the operating conditions, Structural studies are reported concerning the thermal stability of the metastable phases, their grain growth behaviour and their stress state as a function of heat-treatment time and temperature, Equilibrium structures cannot be obtained by heating the epsilon phase below the eutectoidic temperature, equilibrium alpha' can be precipitated from metastable beta(BCC).
