摘要
As electrical resistance tomography can detect local changes in conductivity/resistivity, the technique can be used to study the unsteady mixing dynamics of miscible liquids if the fluids to be blended have different conductivities. This paper presents a preliminary study involving injecting a small quantity of strong brine solution into water, tomographic measuring of the boundary voltages from a peripheral electrode array, reconstructing the conductivity distribution from these measurements and implementing the angular velocity profiling using auto-correlation technique. This paper also presents the results of the comparison between these tomographic data and the data obtained from individual conductivity sensors.
