Pyrolytic carbon films deposited on alumina substrates by chemical vapour deposition starting from methane are analysed by measurement of static magnetic susceptibility, electron spin resonance and proton Overhauser shift. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
