摘要：

The melting behavior of alpha-form crystallites in wool in an intermediate state between dry and wet is investigated using DSC for samples in various forms. The specific thermal characteristics of wool affecting its melting thermograms are identified. Silicone oil provides a constant thermal environment, with the melting and degradation endotherms readily separated for easier interpretation.
