摘要
Responses to a national survey of 207 undergraduate economics instructors indicate that lecture, supplemented by blackboard and textbook, still predominates in the classroom. Despite this, a large number of instructors perceived themselves as ''participatory'' instructors rather than ''directive,'' and reported that they had changed their methods during the last five years, moving toward more student participation through either increased class discussion, instructor questions, and/or group activities.
