Magnetic reversal in ultra-thin nanoshaped magnetic dots: numerical simulations and Kerr observation

摘要
The magnetic reversal in isolated nanosized magnetic dots was modelled with a simple model. The dependence of shape, size and exchange was simulated and compared with the magnetic reversal observed by Kerr loop tracer in Ni(81)Fe(19) dot array with a period of 300 nm and dot extensions between 120 and 180 nm.
