摘要
In this investigation, Cr-doped TiO2 thin films were prepared on glass substrate with various doping concentrations to study the photocatalytic activity in UV-visible light irradiation. The Cr-doped TiO2 thin films were prepared by reactive magnetron sputtering using various sputtering pressures to control the Cr doping concentration. The optical property red-shift of transmittance edge and decrease of average transmittance with the increase of Cr doping. The photocatalytic activity, evaluated by the measurement of decomposition of methanol under visible and UV-visible light irradiation, increases for the low Cr doping concentration, but decreases for higher Cr doping concentrations.
