摘要：

This paper discusses the different steps involved in the development process of high-speed motor drives for industrial applications to successfully bring them from paper designs to fully functional devices. Two motor drive technologies are discussed as an example from SatCon's wide expertise in this arena: Permanent Magnet (PM) and induction machine drives.
