摘要
Hot isostatic pressing (HIP) and Field-activated sintering (FAST) techniques were employed to produce fully dense Cu-In-Ga-Se compacts from mechanically alloyed powders. A grain size in the nanometer range (about 50 to 60 nm) was retained in the compacts. The tetragonal nature of the phase and the lattice strain in the mechanically alloyed powders contributed to cracking of the final consolidated parts.
