摘要：

A simple experiment based on magnetic induction is presented to measure the velocity of a magnet flying through air using a signal induced by a magnet when it passes through a coil. The results show that some properties of this signal depend only on the geometry of the coil and this fact can easily be applied to obtain the velocity of the magnet.
