摘要
Dehydrochlorination (DHC) of PVC was studied in the presence of PET and PE as admixtures by using conductometry to determine the forming HCl. The admixtures were found to suppress the maximum degree of DHC and to reduce the rate of DHC. The kinetic data showed the Diels-Alder mechanism to be involved in the zip termination reaction. CC-MS data showed PET as admixture to result in no organochlorine compounds present in the pyrolyzates of (PVC + PET) mixtures.
