摘要：

By placing a rectangular spiral conducting strip on the top, bottom, and two side surfaces of a rectangular plastic chip of dimensions 5 X 10 X 16 mm(3), a novel plastic chip antenna capable of GSM/DCS dual-band operations in mobile phones is presented. The plastic chip antenna has the attractive feature of surface mountable and generates a lower mode for GSM (890-960 MHz) operation and at? tipper mode for DCS (1710-1880 MHz) operation.
