摘要
A study was conducted to investigate the evidence of supervalent doping in olivine LiFePO4. Shoichiometric amounts of high purity Li 2CO3, FeC2O4·2H2O, along with other compounds were ball-milled with acetone for 6-18 hours in silicon nitride media, to prepare the samples. Powders were heated to 350°C for 10 hours in flowing Ar, reground, and heat-treated at 600°C in the same atmosphere for upto 8 hours. The results show that the dopant resides primarily on the Li site, while samples of Li1-xDxFePO4 showed refined dopant concentrations lower than intended.
