Determination of net atomic charges in anthraquinone by means of 5-h X-ray diffraction experiment

摘要
Net atomic charges in anthraquinone have been determined by means of single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The diffraction data collection using four-circle diffractometer equipped with two-dimensional CCD detector took less than 5 h. The experimental values of net atomic charges agree quite well with those calculated by quantum chemistry methods. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
