摘要
Copolyaniline containing phenyl sulfonic acid sodium salt pendent, was chemically synthesized and used for its characterization as an electrorheological (ER) fluid. Its chemical structure and particle shape were analyzed using an FT-IR, C-13-NMR, and SEM. Copolyaniline particles have irregular and lamellar morphology. This ER fluid was prepared by dispersing polymer particles in silicone oil and was characterized by a rotational Haake rheometer with a high voltage generator. Typical ER behavior was found in the copolyaniline suspension.
