摘要
Co2Y hexaferrite powder was prepared by the solid-state reaction method. The samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Magnetic and dielectric properties were investigated using an impedance analyzer. Co2Y hexaferrite exhibits good hyper-frequency properties with: cut-off frequencies beyond 1 GHz, high initial permeability, and low dielectric constant. It shows promise as a soft magnetic material to be used in hyper-frequency applications. The effect of sintering temperature on properties of Co2Y hexaferrites was also studied.
