摘要
Various methods were discussed that designers use to enhance the energy awareness of wireless sensor networks. An analysis of the power consumption characteristics of typical sensor node architectures was also studied. Several energy optimization and management techniques were analyzed at node, link, and network level. It was observed that designers by following energy-aware design methodology can enhance network lifetime by orders of magnitude.
