Growth of nanostructured carbon films by cluster assembly

摘要
The structural properties of nanostructured films obtained by deposition of supersonic beams of carbon clusters are investigated by classical molecular dynamics simulations and compared to experiments. Simulations are shown to predict how the structural properties of the deposited him depend on the actual growth protocol. In particular, it is shown that the assembly of small linear clusters can lead to the formation of random schwarzite structures.
