摘要
The process of dye diffusion through a nematic liquid crystal (LC) host is studied by fluorescence photobleaching recovery spectroscopy and digital imaging. The effects of temperature and anisotropy on the diffusion of photobleached dye molecules within a planar aligned LC cell are explicitly shown. Furthermore, the possibility of utilizing Raman rather than fluorescence imaging for the study of diffusion in binary mixtures of fluorescence-free nematoges is suggested. [S1063-651X(99)10902-4].
