摘要:
A 64 x 64 Mercury-Cadmium-Telluride (MCT) focal-plane array (FPA) detector coupled to a step-scanning Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) microscope has been used to acquire spectroscopic images in the fingerprint region of the infrared spectrum (1800-900 cm(-1)). FT-IR microspectroscopic imaging using this MCT FPA enabled us to chemically identify a 7.5-mu m-thick adhesive tie layer in a polymer laminate packaging material. Infrared spectroscopic images of cross sections of human bone tissue obtained using the MCT FPA detector are also presented. The protein, carbonate, and phosphate concentrations change as a function of radial distance from an osteon.
