摘要
The essential oil of Artemisia verlotiorum Lamotte growing in Auvergne (France) was investigated by GC and GUMS. Eleven batches of the plant were harvested in various areas, at different vegetative pei iods, and essential oils isolated from aerial parts by steam distillation. Fifty components amounting to ca. 90% of the oil were identified, the major being alpha -thujone (40.7% av.). The other significant constituents were 1,8-cineole (9.58%), beta -thujone (6.70%), beta -caryophyllene (9.34%), germacrene D (4.23%) and caryophyllene oxide.
