The aromatic and polyphenolic composition of Roman camomile tea

摘要
The qualitative and quantitative composition of the main aromatic and polyphenolic constituents of infusion from Chamaemelum nobile flowers was examined. The camomile tea contained a large amount of polyphenolic compounds (340 mg/l), the most important being chamaemeloside (155 mg/l). Only traces of essential oil were recovered in tea (7 mg/ l) (C) 2003 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
