A general route for the synthesis of tris(perfluoroalkylphenyl)phosphites from halophenol derivatives and 1-iodoperfluorooctane is described. The stability and the solubility of these new compounds are reported. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
