摘要
A method for growing the FeRh thin films with a good (001) texture on fused silica (SiO2-glass) substrates is presented. Seed layers of Fe/Ir and the substrate temperature as low as 200 degrees C; at which FeRh is deposited, are effective for growing the Ir-substituted FeRh films with a good (001) texture, though annealing is necessary after deposition. Furthermore, a FePt layer was deposited onto the Fe(Rh, Ir) and perpendicularly magnetized FePt film with (001) texture was fabricated. (C) 2004 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
