摘要
The catalytic reduction of aromatic nitro compounds by coinage metal nanoparticles was studied. The catalytic efficiency of nanoparticles for electron transfer was explained by their size-dependent redox properties, which control their role as an electron relay system. The redox catalytic properties of coinage metal nanoparticles because of their plasmon absorption bands were also demonstrated.
