Preparation of high strength bulk nano-scale Fe/Cu multilayers by repeated pressing-rolling

摘要
Preparation of high strength bulk nano-scale Fe/Cu multilayers was investigated using repeated pressing-rolling technique. The sample was hot-pressed at 673 K in vaccum to reduce the thickness and annealed again at 873 K for 1 h in vacuum to remove defects and strain. The results show that the tensile strength of nano-scale Fe/Cu multilayers is 1570 MPa and its elongation is 0.75%.
