摘要
Recently, genes for two copper-responsive regulatory systems were identified in the Escherichia call chromosome. In this report, data are presented that support a hypothesis that the putative multicopper oxidase CueO and the transenvelope transporter CusCFBA are involved in copper tolerance in E. coli.
