摘要
The alignment of gold nanorods at surfaces and in bulk polymers was discussed. Atomic force microscopy, Rayleigh light scattering and absorption spectroscopy (AS) techniques were used for the purpose. It was found that gold nanorods can be aligned in bulk poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) and at the surface of PVA using a simple stretch-film method. A unique approach to imprinting gold nanorods into the surface of polymer substrates was also demonstrated.
