摘要：

The self-association of complexes of (1-(3-(dimethylamino)propyl)-3-ethylcarbodimide methiodide) (ETC) and PEO-b-PAA was investigated. The reaction of ETC with PAA block of molecularly dispersed PEO-b-PAA in water led to self-association which resulted in aggregates with the morphologies of short rods, vesicles, encapsulated spheres and long fibers. The morphologies of the resultant aggregates with short rodlike morphology with aspect ratio between 2 and 5 were observed by transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The change in molar ratio (MR) resulted variation in core of aggregates which led to alteration in the Coulombic interactions within the hydrophilicity of core.
