Two sol-gel methods for preparing TiO2 particles was were demonstrated. The first one uses alcohol (WA1) and the other is without alcohol (WOA1). The influence of both on the specific surface, the crystallinity, and photocatalytic activity of the semi-conductor was determined. Photocatalytic activity was tested using the benzamide degradation. The crystalline phase was determined by the X-ray diffraction method (XRD).
