Suspension polymerization of L-lactide in supercritical carbon dioxide in the presence of a triblock copolymer stabilizer

摘要
The synthesis of a triblock copolymer stabilizer from a commercially available fluorinated perfluoropolyether (PEPE) diol was discussed. It was observed that the stabilizer was soluble in supercritical carbon dioxide (scCO2) and effectively stabilizes the ROP of L-lactide in scCO 2. The suspension polymerization of L-lactide in sc-CO2 was also discussed.
