摘要
The present letter introduces microstructural observations performed on a thixoformed AZ91 Aluminium alloy after heat treatment. The authors herein reported the existence of "quasi-crystal" precipitates, with an (Al,Mg)(86)Mn-14 composition. and of Icosahedral cubic tau -phase particles (i.e. Mg-32(Al, Zn)(49)).
