摘要：

Unlike monolithic kernels that must be relinked, reinstalled, and rebooted after every code change, the Linux kernel uses loadable modules to simplify and shorten development time, make dynamic configuration easier, and save kernel memory. New code Linux modules can be added dynamically to the kernel at runtime.
