Electrodepositing nickel silica nano-composites coatings

摘要
The nano SiO2 ceramic particles were dispersed within the Ni-base solution by the high energy. mechanical chemistry method (a patent method) to form the Ni/SiO2 solution and then the Ni/SiO2 co-electrodeposition coating was prepared. The co-electrodeposition coating possessed finer crystal grains. The SiO2 particles were dispersed evenly within the coating, and the bonding between the matrix metal Ni and the SiO2 ceramic particles is compact. (c) 2005 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
