摘要：

Recent clinical trials have found that postmenopausal estrogen replacement therapy increases risk for deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism. It may be advisable for women to discontinue hormone therapy perioperatively and during immobilization due to fracture, stroke, or other severe illness.
