摘要
Polycrystalline materials obtained from the ground single crystals of BiFeO3 and Bi0.93La0.07FeO3, reported as not having superstructure, show superstructure reflections in X-rays and neutron diffraction patterns. The determined magnetic moment of antiferromagnetically ordered Fe3+ ions is mu(Fe) = (3.70 +/- 0.03)mu(B) and mu(Fe) = (3.79 +/- 0.03)mu(B) for BiFeO3 and Bi0.93La0.07FeO3, respectively.
