High enhancement factor gold films for surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy

摘要
Nonresonant enhancement factors in excess of 10(11) for surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy were recorded for rhodamine 6G dye on surface plasmon resonance wavelength tunable gold films. Spectra were obtained from submonolayer samples, corresponding to the detection of at most 180 attograms of analyte. (C) 2003 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
